It was a great day out yesterday. I had a difficult time setting up the tent in the sun. I could feel all eyes on me – but I did it. Some had better tents and some had worse, but it felt great. It was mostly running around to and from the shop to make sure they were fed as there was only one shop and they closed early. Although I couldn’t relax and have my ideal few hours at the beach, what a pleasure it was to see Little-R run about and play in the sand and in the water.
She loved collecting sea shells and I loved sorting them with her. I can’t wait to get my driving license so that I can go with them whenever and wherever we want without the hassles of running around for trains and taxis. It would be so relaxed. Back home, I did enjoy it for a short while. I hope I can take my family places soon.
It was past 1:00 AM by the time we reached home. Wasn’t safe walking from station to the flat and we swore we wouldn’t plan like this ever. But man, what an awesome day.
